Eva Pavlikova was born in Slovakia. She first graduated as a Nurse, then received her Diploma as a Dental Technician and later graduated with a third degree as a Dental Hygienist. She received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Dental College of Bratislava in Slovakia.
Her career in dentistry started as a Dental Technician for two years at a private dental lab in Bratislava, Slovakia, then as a chair-side Dental Assistant in a dental office for six years, also in Bratislava, Slovakia, and then 2 years as a Dental Hygienist in a government hospital in Bratislava, Slovakia. Eva joined the Advanced American Dental Center in Abu Dhabi in 2003 and worked initially as a chair-side Dental Assistant and later purely as a Dental Hygienist.
Eva is a member of the Association of Dental Hygienists in the Slovak Republic and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry where she takes the opportunity to grow and learn through continuing education on regular visits to the yearly congresses held in various cities in the US and Europe.
Eva has received extensive training on the latest bleaching techniques and is a passionate dental photographer. She has a thorough knowledge on how to treat periodontal disease and how to prevent dental caries. She takes pride in giving thorough advice on how to prevent dental caries in children and the use of fissure sealants. She obtained a certificate on nitrous oxide sedation and is able to provide dental hygiene treatment, such as deep scaling and treatments of sensitivity under local anesthesia.
